Last week when we went to the doctors,I was about to sit down and as I looked out the window I saw all these cute little birds (swallows I think) sitting on a rock together. I remember earlier this year they were making a nest in the alcove about the offices.
And they had a brood of babies. Aren't they pretty?
Especially compared to the birds at our house, our little sparrows.
I spotted this bunny the other day not far from those pretty flowers and butterfly I posted about yesterday!!
Whoo-Hoo, I heard from Betty, my friend from Australia. She isn't far away and will come visit next week. This is so exciting! Have you met in person, anyone you have met on the internet? Or maybe a pen pal? (If you follow Susan Branch, you know that she has met several different times, her pen pal from England!)
Hope you're in for a fun and/or relaxing weekend! Our weather today was terrible HOT, we had a Heat Index of 104. It was also very humid! This will last for the next week or more...smile..

Gert, Your bird photos could be made into cards. I love those swallows on the rock. I love Susan Branch. I like to read her blog and just see what all she and her hubby are doing. such beautiful little birds...i saw a bunny out in our alley this morning when i took out the trash...he stopped and looked at me and NO CAMERA. BUMMER.

Those little swallows are adorable. So was the bunny. We have lots of those little sparrows around and I think they are fun to watch. I hope you have a great visit with your friend.
