Is it Really sliding into the End of the Year??

I cannot believe I haven’t posted for almost 4 months now. If you're on Facebook, you know I’m still alive and kicking! Actually, I’m still alive, not so sure about the kicking-Ha ha!

After my last post I did have to have emergency eye surgery. I was unable to look up for 2 weeks and couldn't see out of the eye for a little over 3 weeks.   It’s been a long recovery and am doing drops in both eyes for another couple months. However, I did have a great report in reference to the pressures last week. So that is wonderful!!

My son Randy took this picture, unbeknownst to me! And put it up on Facebook, while asking for prayers. Bless his heart!

Yes, fall arrived and my front room was all decorated with warm colors! It looks so pretty as the morning sun shines in through the window!

We even spotted a monarch butterfly as they were making their trip to Mexico!

I also had several cardinals this fall and winter.  (I plan on making another post of the birds I’ve spotted.)

One Saturday my grand and my greats came to visit-those are always such special times!

Here are Lorelai and Maggie! They are just too darn cute!

I even had a buck in my back and this fall!

My son and daughter-in-law took me to my great nieces wedding. It was so beautiful and fun!

Another weekend my other greats, Eden and Ivy came to visit. The are so cute and adorable!

Then the *snow* came along! Winter has arrived!

Some wonderful and surprising news! I had a call from Susan Branch's office back in the first part of November. She said an anonymous person bought me a cup of my choice! I was so excited - I started to cry, to think that someone would do that for me. I love the big cups for my coffee each morning, so I chose the one with the Corgi on it. The queens favorite dogs!!

I had to go in for my 6 month checkup on my MS.  Not far from their office there is a pond full of Canadian geese. Their here year round. I always love visiting it so I can snap a shot or two. And by the way my check up was good!

Here was my front room, all decorated for Christmas! Yes, my friend put my tree out before Thanksgiving...I really didn’t mind, as I love all the lights etc. But she also put it away right after Christmas. .  What do you do??

This was taken at my son and daughter in laws house on Thanksgiving. We were watching football, and the the greats. Those girls are all so adorable!

Every year our Bible study group celebrate Christmas, with snacks and a gift exchange. Our paster wasn’t able to come, we missed her. But we did have lots of fun!!

My neighbor girl who helps and cares for me..made this beautiful wreath.  It looks so pretty on my garage!

Here is my son, Randy and granddaughter Lorelai. He took her to the Father-daughter dance the first of December, as her dad was recuperating from having his appendix surgery.

Here are my Georgia peaches (smile). Daughter Brenda, granddaughters Amanda and Ashley. They were celebrating Christmas at Brenda and Johns house! Aren’t they beautiful?

I, on the other hand was at my son's house on Christmas. I was reading Maggie, a Dolly Parton book...on colors. When I finished she read (her story was made up from pictures in the book!) her book, on the red truck. Her story telling was amazing ! You can tell she gets read to a lot!!!

Before we left I got this picture of me with my greats..we were all laughing so hard, because Maggie and Lorelai's dad, was standing behind whoever was taking the picture and making rabbit ears...etc! Wish we would have had a camera to reverse this shot...ha!

And finally here is my Christmas picture of "Winter" and I by the fire.

I wanted to do a short recap  of the last four months, so am sorry I didn't use all the great photos I had.  But, each year I do a Blog2Print book, so needed to finish 2019, before I can do my 2020 resolution of blogging again. I hope you had a good year in 2019 and are looking forward to blessed new year in 2020!

Bye for now.

What We Spotted Today

I was trying to get a picture of the sedum next door. We were going out, and I had Tom stop so I could snap a picture. As we were pulling away I noticed the flutter of a butterfly!!

I was so excited, I'm like stop...stop...there's a butterfly. I need to take some pictures of it!!

And I did take lots of photos...smile...

The countdown is almost over...tomorrow morning is our big day!! MS Walk 2015!!
