Prayers Needed

The other day when we were out and about, the sun was starting to go down. I looked up and the hills were alive with the sun making the clouds and trees look so golden! I love how the reflection of the sun can create such  beauty.

The same day we were at WalMart, it was a little chilly, but not too bad. Tom wanted that Handicap spot to the left (see the blue painting on the pavement)? However, this elderly lady was walking right down the center of the parking lot. Tom was like...'she is so slow...' lol I told him, whatever you do...don't honk the horn. hee...hee... (And thank goodness he didn't.)

I made these loosemeats Sunday. We ended up with 4 containers that we froze to eat at a later date. Always love having something all ready to eat when we don't feel like cooking. smile.. Mainly, it's hamburger, onion, warm water (that's why it's call 'loose' meat!) I said on FB I could smell the horseradish...cooking away! ha! I will post the recipe tomorrow!

Need prayers for my daughter, she will have two surgeries, one for her nose Friday and then on her eye next Tuesday. Plus she has some personal problems. (God knows what they are.) I really appreciate your prayers for Brenda.

Blessings to your week.

Cold and Frosty this Week...

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light! Genesis 1:3

Actually, it really hasn't been all that bad this week. Monday was very fidget and of course we had a doctors appointment...so we did have to get out! Then temperatures weren't all that bad the rest of the week, just the wind which made it feel very COLD! However, when the sun did shine....look who was enjoying it! smile..

One day when we were downtown...once again I spotted the sun reflecting on one of the buildings.. Love the looks of this Center and thank goodness it doesn't cause issues like I heard about a few weeks ago. Where a building (somewhere) with reflecting glass...actually melted things that were in it's reflection. It caused problems with cars etc.. did you read about it???

Yesterday, we woke to snow on the ground!! Always pretty, but makes work for my honey! However, I did stick my head out the door and got a beautiful wiff of fresh air...ahhhh It smelled so good and was so crisp and fresh! I love it!! However, when I told my husband, "Gee it's not bad out..", he looked at me with shovel in hand and said..."Ya, whatever..." ha...ha...

Our poinsettia is still doing well...as the sun shone on it one day!! Each time I look up and see it, I just have to smile... brightens my day, that's for sure!!!

One day the sun was trying it's best to break through the clouds and shine on our world. I thought to myself...that cloud cover must really be something...to shut out the 'glorious sun!' (However, the sun did win that day....big smile...) Do you get the feeling, I LOVE the SUN?? Well, you're right I do.... I love the light!

Sunny Day...

Yesterday morning, the view out our window was beautiful!

The cardinal looked so pretty against the white of snow. They certainly couldn't hide!! smile...

By the shadows falling against the snow, it's evident that the sun was shining brightly isn't it? And of course..who doesn't just love the sparkles on the snow??? Yes, there was a lot of melting going on even though we only had a high of 24 degrees. The snow was sliding off the roof and off the awnings..smile...  And there was ice cycles hanging from the roof...  (sorry I forgot to take pictures of them..)  Today we spent the day resting and choose to stay home due to the cold and snow. Tom's knee is slowly getting better, but he is still limping around. Apparently the anti inflammatory drug is starting to work. (Praise God!)

Hope you had a blessed SONday and are looking forward to a good week.

A snowman is love and laughter all rolled into one...
