Cool Fall Day...

We woke up this morning expecting to have some 'white' stuff on the ground.  However, the only thing close to it were the 'cooler' temperatures... smile... Later in the morning we did have a little rain, but again not hardly enough to get the ground wet.  Our temperatures only got up to 48 degrees and the wind was blowing most of the day, so we choose to stay in. Tom made some homemade vegetable soup. smile... which happens to be one of my favorite soups and especially when it's made with a soup bone and love!! smile....

What did you do today? I pray your day and your weather is good. Please join me in prayer for those out east who are without electricity and heat. amen

Blessings and good night...........

Good Thursday morning, Gert!
Your soup looks absolutely delicious! Just the thing for a cold day!
'Tis the season for Chili Cook-offs around here, and my husband and I will be judges for a couple of them.
I had feared that our recent frost would "do in" our roses, but they are still in full bloom. They make nice bouquets for the table.
Have a great day!

That soup looks yummy!
Our temp has cooled down too, 40's at night, 60's near 70 today. Love it!
I have been out and about looking at all the local shops for Christmas ideas.
One of our sons lives in the northeast and they just got their power back Tues.
Have you have a great day....
