I spotted this scene the other day when I was out and about! Don’t you just love it when their leaves spread all over the ground?? Like someone shook them or their undressing for the winter😊
I saw all these sparrows trying to find some seed on the patio. This was just before the rain! They must have known what was coming. Ha! The news just said that we got a total of a little over a half of an inch. I let Rusty out for the night and as the cold air coming rushing in through the door, I hurried and closed it !!! Then I thought about one of Gladys Tabers remarks from one of her books, how each night as she let her dogs out she would stick her head out the door and take a big whiff of the night air!!! So....that is exactly what I did..I braved the cold night air. ~smile~ Actually this week our highs will be in the 40’s and by next week we’ll only have highs in the 30’s....uggg
Look who came over for a visit!!! I was soooo excited!!! Little Maggie and Miss Lorelai!! My daughter-in-love (their Meme) brought me over a Grecian dinner! The Holy Trinity Grecian church put on a dinner today. So she got a carry out for me. It was very good as always and so thoughtful of her to do this. But of course, the best part was bringing the girls over!!! I really enjoyed loving up on them with lots of ((hugs))!!
Then....what a surprise.....my friend stopped by for a visit. I really miss her since she moved about 100 miles away. She was here visiting with her family. Her Mom was with her, so got a couple ((hugs)) from them too!! After Tom passed away, she was one of the girls who I had come to help me. We just hit it off right away!!! We truly live in a small world. Turned out, as a child her family lived next door to a couple who were great friends of ours. Who
knew?? Do you have that happen to you?? There is a saying about Six degrees of separation. Have you seen or read about this theory??
I’ve got to get to bed and train my body and mind that it is now an hour later. Ha!
Bye for now......
