Sunday was a relaxing day for both of us...but especially for Tom...(well it was Father's Day wasn't it??) smile.... Monday..since I had taken my MS shot Sunday night left me feeling kind of blah...My hair was in a dire need to be cut...so my friend stopped by after work and cut it! She is the best!!! I wished I had the energy to bake something for her when she got here...of course I didn't...so I thought 3-2-1... yes I baked her the 3-2-1 dessert, remember? 3 Tbls. of mix, 2 Tbls. of water...and bake it in the microwave for 1 minute! and she loved it...smile...
This morning after I exercised, I told Tom I wanted to step out and check out our flowers... and look..my babies are growing...smile...
Years ago I thought it would be fun if everyone who came to our garden would sign a stone! Then we went to Georgia and I told Brenda and the girls about it, well since they couldn't come to our garden, the girls found these stones and painted them to decorate our garden... (Ashley did an extra one decorated for my Red Hat's...)
Yesterday, Tom picked 4 red tomatoes...smile...We enjoyed them... I noticed this morning there was a green one hidden among the basil...smile...
Don't you think our pansies are lovely??? They are so vibrant...yellow...blue, red and white with purple centers!! Isn't God amazing???
And last, but not least...another yellow flower...how they grow so beautiful is wondrous.... Tom is so great about watering all these lovely flowers and the birds. This is so important, especially right now, as we are in the midst of a heat wave! The last 3 days have been in the 90's. Tomorrow...the temps are to go down to the 70's...with possibly some rain , which we can use as long as there isn't any bad weather with it. My Tom made some 'chili' today...ha...ha..I can just hear you all laughing!!! I know....but it was delicious!!
So, what was your day like? Are you having these terrible temperatures?? And are you ready for summer to begin???

"The Many Thoughts of Grace"
February 18, 1939: Jack and I finished moving into our own house today! Mama helped us. We spent our first night really alone. Paul and Bobbie came after Mama. I'm sure I'm going to like it here. The wind blew and it rained.

Your flowers are lovely Gert. and I love the idea of painting small rocks.
The temperatures here have been far from hot, so yes, I am ready for summer 'though we have just begun winter:)
Gert-It was hot and humid here today. I didn't even work outside at all. I can take the heat with a breeze but not the humidity with NO breeze. We got a bit of rain but need a lot more.
Your flowers are beautiful and I see that you are already harvesting tomatoes. Blessings to you. Hope you have recovered from the BLAHS your MS shot gives you- xo Diana
Gert, your garden looks great! I love all the color and the babies! Mine is non-existent and I am so mad at myself for letting the yard go. I hope to get something done this week, but it is really hot and dry here!
Hugs, GraceinAZ (Pat)
