As Promised....

Our sites this morning out the window were so pretty...the camera can never really capture the true beauty of our skies. But they give you an idea how we started our day...smile... What I haven't mentioned were the temperatures....we started off with 35 or 36 degree's... Hard to believe how these can change so quickly......then our highs were 73...

Soon the skies turned pink, as the sun started to rise...smile.. total beauty!!! The rest of the day was very 'busy' making phone calls after phone calls... to doctors, to pharmacies...and on and on..  I 'think' I might understand a little more about the 'donut hole'! We are luckier than our parents were when they were on Social Security and Medicare.... BUT....we forget these things when we're in the middle of an issue ourselves. However, we must always be thankful for small favors....

As promised here are a few pictures Brenda sent me...that she has taken in the last few weeks... this butterfly was on her deck last week...isn't it just beautiful????

And like my neighborhood cat, these were spotted also on her deck earlier this month. Don't they just look so comfortable?? Oh yes, and so pretty..........love it!!

Last but not least, this lizard or gecko (she wasn't really sure what it was) adorned her porch yesterday.... Eeekkk.... it would have scared me to death...smile... (It just looks like a creepy crawler to me...ha...ha...)

I hope you've had a wonderful day....

Beautiful sunrise! I love that colour.
Great photos from your daughter. I saw a small lizard while digging in the garden last week. Amy was fascinated, but it ran away very quickly.
Hope you are well Gert. and having a good week.

Gert, thank you for popping over from BJ's. I'd love for you to join us. In fact, this post almost meets the requirements so it's not a fussy, fussy party. Those cats are so pretty and relaxed. That is a great photo!

Lovely sunrise, Gert!

On this Wednesday morning, our low temperature here was 51 degrees! I love it! The heat of the summer has certainly given me a yearning for these cooler fall temperatures.

Have a good Wednesday!
