A Couple Days in Review

Yesterday I went out to have my yearly Smashogram Mammogram! When I left the house, I thought it was pretty nice. But as I was walking in, I thought 'why didn't I put my ear muffs and gloves on. When the girls inside said, "is it still nice out"? I said, yes and no...how cool it felt with the wind blowing. They had to agree, where their building is located they get a lot of wind, which of course makes it feel much colder.

 

The lady did a pretty good job, only thing she had a hard time getting the perfect picture. So she'd have to smash me and smash me.... Funny, the pain came later in the night with my muscles in my chest and back, caused by her trying to get that perfect shot. Ugggg...

 

When I left, they offered to help me out to the car, but I said I'd be fine. I was smart this time and put my ear muffs and gloves on. smile...

Today, I worked all day on the newsletter. And with other paperwork for this group also kept me busy..balancing their checkbook etc. When I left my desk yesterday, there was a pile of papers in front of my computer....tonight there is nothing in front of it!!! Yeah!!! That is a beautiful site!!! Tomorrow, I'll work on my stuff... It seems it's never ending...but that is okay, as I need to keep busy...

Bird Watching Weekend

While I was bird counting today, I spotted this Mama Cardinal hiding in the tree...smile...  Later she hopped on the feeder and had something to eat...smile...

We brought my chair in the front room, and I sat there for 30 or 40 minutes in the mornings. Today I decided to take a few pictures while I was watching the birds coming in. There were a few more that I didn't get photos of. It was really fun to do! Did anyone else do it??

Tom looked out and said..."oh there is a squirrel out there too..." smile.. I thought that doesn't matter...I was just counting birds not squirrels. smile... About that time, this kitty chased him up the tree!! Boy that squirrel was unhappy...the cat could only go so far up, then the squirrel jumped from branch to branch...then to another tree. He was gone...... The cat came down and ran across the yard and through the alley to the neighbors house... soon the sliding glass door opened and in she/he went!! (So it's nice to know this kitty isn't homeless...) but I'm sorry that it keeps chasing the squirrels up the trees! ha.... 

I'm a happy camper, I got a lot of paperwork done today!! I was so happy! I can even see my desk now!!! ha... How about you? Did you have a nice weekend? I hope this was a blessed SONday for you...
