Blog Plus Pro

Granddaughter Lacey sent me this picture one night.  Isn’t it gorgeous ?? I thought about the saying “Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning! Red skies at night, sailors delight!” So, we should have not had any winds the next day. 

I mentioned the app in my heading...I’m using it on my blog. I love it, as I can type this on either my phone or iPad!!! Kind of nice not having to get on my computer. But I see my photo doesn’t show up for those of you who look in the reading section on your blog. Lots of times that will draw people to read your blog !!! So I’m not sure if I really like it. 

Isn’t this cute? My granddaughter Ashley & her husband Ben sent it to me for Christmas !!! Look at all the goodies she made & sent!!!

God's Gorgeous Sunset

 

Tonight I saw this pretty site. I was standing in the doorway looking east and was waiting for Tom to pull up and get me. I thought, boy when I get in the car I'll take a picture of that!!!

 

Then when we left the parking lot and headed west...I saw why the trees and the buildings on the east looked so pretty. Look at this sunset! Tom said he was glad we didn't have to drive into this sun. It really was terribly bright!!!! (Lucky us we only had about a block heading this way, then we turned north!!) smile..

 

We attended an MS Seminar tonight. It was very interesting, loved the speaker. We have seen her before and she is really  good! We also saw lots of our friends.

January Thaw

 

This pretty woodpecker graced our tree yesterday. As you can see we had a beautiful blue sky, with temperatures reaching into the 50's! Aww...January thaw. How lucky we are...while the east coast bares down with a terrible storm! We need to keep them in our prayers.

 

That same bird jumped onto the deck and had a little leftover suet. Actually, there were 3 of them. I wish I could have gotten a picture of all of them.

Don't you just love to see an airplane leaving it's trail as it flies through the sky?? I'm always just mesmerized by them...every so often I'll see them criss crossing each other... 

 



 

It was so pretty the other night when the sun was going down!!

 

How has your week been going so far? We were busy this morning, making banana muffins again. They are so good, and a  great way to use up over ripe bananas. smile... I had found another recipe for banana bread, using sour cream. But my SIL said she'd rather have the muffins.

 

We'll be up early in the morning, our friend is coming to clean the house! smile.. And I'm tired....so am heading to bed...

From Sunrise to Sunset

 

This has been a busy...busy week. We've been up early some mornings, like Wednesday when we took Karen to the hospital. Prayers for her  still would be so appreciated. They are still treating her prior to surgery. She is going through a terrible ordeal. However, today she looked really good.

 

 

Today, when we woke up (late again..smile..), I opened the  curtains and look what we saw! Turkeys everywhere in the yard! Then pretty soon, Tom said he saw a bunny running across the yard!! And the feeder was full of every kind of bird we have here, plus our cute little squirrel was on the patio having some breakfast. I thought to myself, spring really is almost here!!!! Our yard was full of God's little critters!!

 

 

Wednesday night we went to our monthly potluck, which was a great time. The food was so yummy and there was so much of it! When we got home and I was about to get out of the van I looked at the western sky, it was breathtaking. The photo's are never as pretty as it looks in real life.

 

Yesterday I worked all day getting ready for our tax man. When he came, I was prepared for him...yeah!! But it was a long day for me... 

 

Tomorrow, I promise to do the blog on the birds...sorry...
