Fun Day...

We had a lazy morning...then off we went to have Tom's hearing aides checked out. It seems time flies by or maybe it takes us longer to do things. smile... Anyway by the time we headed out of the house it was around 2, we hadn't eaten dinner and had to stop at McDonald's for a hamburger. We pulled up in the parking lot to eat, Tom looked in the sack and there was only one burger in it. So....Tom went back up to the window and told them..and got the other burger!! (Always when you're in a hurry!!) 

I got to visit with my sister and brother in law while Tom went next door to the hearing aid man. We had  a nice visit! When Tom came over, Lela had dessert for us. (Wish I had taken a picture of it....) She fixed a chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream, whipping cream with a cherry on top! Oh yes, it was yummmy.. smile...

Then we headed back to the city, and stopped for a short shopping venture at Sam's Club as we were going by. There was a couple other stops we had to make (one being picking up the newsletters) and this was the sun going down as we finally headed home...

By now you must know Tom is feeling better, both his knee and his tummy!! (thank goodness!) And thank all of you for your prayers and comments, they mean a lot to us. We hope your day was as blessed as ours was!

Went Visiting Today....

Look who got a little ((hug)) today from sweet little Lorelai!! Yes, we went to visit Lacey and Lorelai today! It was just a wonderful day for a drive, the weather was perfect..warm but not hot!

And of course I had to have a ((hug)) or two also...smile... I think Lorelai felt a little more comfortable with us since we were on her turf!!! smile... She was running around..amazing to see how fast they grow and change. She now has several teeth. She was fascinated with my cane..smile...

Of course Rusty had to go visiting too..smile... He was surprised at how feisty little Bear was..smile. I had some treats for the dogs and they enjoyed them. I gave Rusty a "Sweet Potato Fry" (American made treat..)..later Lacey and I were visiting..all of sudden she said, what is that on the floor?? I looked and thought that maybe Rusty had done something...but then it hit me..it was the treat I had given him...Lacey and I both laughed, she said she thought it was awfully shinny for poop...ha...ha.... 

I think I took about 100 pictures (really...) and it was hard to choose just a few for this blog tonight. smile... but I thought I had to share this one...ha...ha... Lorelai was digging in her toys and got off balance...ha... Her Mommy had to come and save her...smile...

Then the time came when Lorelai pooped out and she cuddled up with her Mommy and went to sleep. It wasn't long and we thought we should head home. It was an amazing....fun day. They have such a beautiful home and this was just a perfect day for a visit..
