Here is our granddaughter Ashley. She never needs to buy a mask, she just does the makeup herself. The first one (the zombie) she did a couple years ago, the second one she did yesterday, (a deer)! Isn't she gifted??
Yesterday, we went to the doctor to get our flu shots. Look at this nurse, isn't she adorable?? I know that is not the right word to describe a witch, but that was what came to mind when I saw her. (With that smile, she looks like a 'good witch' doesn't she??) However, she wasn't the one who gave us our shots!! Maybe I wouldn't have called her a good witch if she had. smile... Have you gotten yours this year yet?? I have a bad headache today, otherwise no aches or pains. That was one of the reasons we didn't go to the fishfry tonight.
Look at the treats that Rusty got last night (from his Mommy and Daddy..)lol We've given him some of the cookies, but are saving the Mummy for another day. smile... We didn't turn our porch light on last night, we really don't have very many children up here in this area number one, and Rusty would have gone crazy every time the doorbell rang!! (and that would have been stressful on him..they were talking about it on the news and they also said it's hard on the dogs.)
The tree a few days ago...
And here it was yesterday. What happened? Cold weather, that's what has happened. smile..
When we saw all these 20 some turkeys in the neighborhood park, all I could think of was "they came to the park to play!" ha..ha..
Sounds like most of you in the states are experiencing cold weather. Some of you are even experiencing *snow*. Uggg... I certainly am not looking forward to that this year. Seems the older we get the harder it is to accept winter.
More tomorrow...

Gert, You are so right...the older I get, the less I like winter. LOL. Your granddaughter is a make-up artist. Clever. I know about the beautiful leaves of autumn being blown away by the winds. Sad. Rusty treats look like cookies. LOL> Hope you and Tom are warm and enjoying this day. Yes, we got our flu shots a couple weeks ago. So glad. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
the costumes and make-up are really cute. boy, that tree got stripped quickly!
Oh- Not liking winter and seeing the leaves go mean it is not far off.
Your grandgirl is a VERY talented artist. I hope she shares her talents with some local theater company. They would love to have here there.
The witch was "adorable". lol Hope you have a great Sunday, Gert. xo Diana
Wow, impressive skills. She is an artist. Love seeing the beautiful trees. Happy November.
Wow your granddaughter knows how to do make-up really well. Fun dog treats.
Your tree sure lost it's leaves quickly.
