A Visitor of a Different Kind

I hope you can watch this video, it will show you how this Red-Breasted Nuthatch comes to visit us several times a day. It sits on our window still as you can see. (by the way the music in the background was Johnny Cash...we were watching a Columbo movie that he was starring in..)

It's such a pretty little bird!

Look at its sweet little feet....hanging on for dear life!!!

We're in for some rain this weekend and this is good, as we need it. 'And' our lawn service put on fertilizer which needs to be watered in. I hope we can let God do our watering for us...smile.. I noticed our flowering crab tree is blooming, just hope I get a picture before the rain and wind blow them off..  Do you have any  trees blooming in your area??

Have a good nights sleep.........

Update

It was so cold today that....... (I know that is just a saying, but...) it really was cold, this poor Nuthatch was huddled down beside a tire on the patio.

Look at our poor little squirrel, he was standing way down in the yard looking all bundle up!

We had four Northern Flickers in our yard at one time. These two were in the tree...

While one was down on the shed...

And another one was in the lilac tree.

Then they hit the suet feeders....one at a time.

Today, we went to the doctor on Tom's wrist. He has tendonitis, so he got a shot and a brace. Hopefully, this will get the pain under control.

Tomorrow, Tom's heart doctor rescheduled his appointment until next week. So, will keep you updated on that appointment too. Appreciate your continued prayers for good results. (Thank you...)

Yes, it is cold here, but nothing compared to other parts of the country. My prayers are with everyone on the east coast. Especially Boston. (I can't imagine...)

Our Feeder was Full Today

What an array of birds at our feeder today. Some I didn't even get a picture of. This big boy was loving the suet!

It was kind of hard to get a picture of this Nuthatch. He was busy moving around, plus the wind was blowing the feeder around.

And this little one was waiting for its turn in the tree!

The Downy woodpeckers were busy loving their turn at the suet feeder.

Then there was the Red Bellied Woodpecker also waiting its turn...smile... Or maybe I scared him when he saw my reflection in the window. They are pretty aren't they??

Finally when we came home today, this little guy was hanging there just eating as much as fast as he could smile and my shadow didn't scare him at all!

We also had a Papa Cardinal (we were about to leave so I couldn't dig my camera out of my purse and catch a photo of him..smile..) Plus there were lots of 'snow birds' as I call them.

Hope you're having a good week.. To be ten below here tonight! Yikes!!
